Overview
Marsa Alam is a town in southeastern Egypt, located on the western coast of the Red Sea. Marsa Alam is a major fishing, diving and cruise center and has many beautiful coral reefs and several marine reserves. It is located 274 km south of Hurghada and is a service center for mining expeditions. In 2001, Marsa Alam International Airport was opened, which is located 60 km away, and it has a group of hotels and an international conference center.
